Cotton Cloth
- In this second republication of the philosophical essay ‘Poetics of Relations’ by Edouard Glissant, the focus is on the communal issues that moved him to write the book. The text is combined with collages of enslaved Caribbeans and indigenous art. The content is imprinted on cotton using an artisanal cyanotype treatment. Lastly, the cloths are bundled like flags to a pole, as a reference to the Caribbeans reclaiming their country.
