          This little pocket book is a practical exploration of fonts and figures. Each chapter covers a different topic, with smallness as the overarching theme. The purpose of this exercise was to test the limits of typesetting and digital printing. Inspired by the subject of plankton, I created the open-source font ‘flagellae’ to go along with the opening chapter. The entire content - both visual and textual - is selfmade, words are set in a 6 pt font size.
